Sundance Film Festival Set to Kick Off Tomorrow

Today, Park City, Utah, was bustling with activity as the last minute, venue preparations were being undertaken at the Ray Theatre and the Marc Theatre for the opening of the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The volunteers seemed to have it all under control with a comment that this year’s finishing touches were ahead of the previous year’s last minute sprint to the finish line. I cannot argue!

In addition, festival headquarters imitated a candy machine as press, artists and crews dropped their signatures onto the rosters and were given their just rewards of passes, badges and tags designating each to his/her respective role.

The 2019 Sundance Film Festival is scheduled to open tomorrow morning with a much-anticipated press conference with Robert Redford, President and Founder of the Sundance Institute as well as the face of the Sundance Film Festival, Keri Putnam, the CEO of the Sundance Institute, and John Cooper, the Director of the Festival.
